CutieKill: A Kawaii Store Review

Jasmine Hubbard, News Editor

For pastel alternative fashionistas we’re always looking for the cutest clothes and accessories for the cheapest amount of dollars. From frills to casual pastel hoodies Cutiekill has it all and for great prices to.
Cutiekill is an online kawaii store that launched back on February 28th, 2016 and is run by three lovely sweethearts, Ariel, Coral, and Wendy. These girls help to manage, design, and package all of their shipments and this year I have had the pleasure of ordering from them three times.

Shipment can take around two weeks to a month to get to you since there are only three girls and it’s shipping all the way from China. However, the packaging is always lovely and they take the extra time to hand write you a sweet note and place a little goody inside. All the items are individually wrapped in a plastic bag with their Cutiekill logo on it and then for extra protection wrapped together in a thick layer of bubble wrap.

Thus far I have ordered three skirts, four tops, three stockings, and four fluffy knee high socks. The quality on all the items is extremely professional for just starting out. The only major complaint I have on the tops is that the sleeves are a bit short even though the rest of the shirt fits perfectly. For sizing there isn’t much versatility; however, they’re aiming to put out more plus sized girl clothing and are currently looking for models to model the new clothes. My favorite thing that I have ordered is their ice-cream pastel sweater. The sweater is extremely warm, comfortable, cute, and the sleeves actually fit me. The fluffy knee high socks are another item I really enjoyed. In fact, I enjoyed them so much that I went back and bought three more pairs. The socks are currently on sale, buy two get the third for free. The store typically has many sales on great items and the prices are much lower than typical high end kawaii stores such as Lazy Oaf and Angelic Pretty.

I am extremely blessed to have been featured on Cutiekill’s Instagram page @cutiekill.official and can’t wait for you all to see all the exquisite items I have purchased. If you would like to see those items you can check me out on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and YouTube at LadyJay872. Stay tuned for my next fashion article and as always, stay sew cute PB.
