Little Mix is a British girl band who originated in 2011 from The X Factor, a UK Series. The group consists of four girls: Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Perrie Edwards.

Since being signed by Syco Music in 2011, Little Mix has won multiple awards for their strong mix of R&B, Soul, and Pop. They have been honored with one Brit Award, one Teen Award, one Radio Disney Music Award, one iHeartRadio Music Award, one O2 Silver Clef Award, two Japanese Gold Disc Awards, two Teen Choice Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards, three BBC Radio Awards, three Glamour Awards, and three Global Awards. Safe to say, this popular group is not only popular with their fans, but with the critics as well.

The group recently released their fifth studio album, LM5, which contains popular songs such as “Joan Of Arc,” “Strip,”  “Love A Girl Right,” and “Told You So,” which are a perfect mix of their styles. “Joan Of Arc” and “Strip,” despite their names, are songs about having confidence and loving yourself, and “Love A Girl Right” and “Told You So” are about friendship and having your friend’s back.

These girls not only make amazing songs but they are multitalented. Not only can they sing and harmonize perfectly, but they can beat-box, play multiple instruments, and sing in Japanese. They are an amazing band that deserves more attention than they have received after being together for over seven years and still going strong!
