Everyone has a guilty pleasure; it’s a flaw of our existence and makes us the humans that we are. We know that we shouldn’t do things like this but we enjoy our guilty pleasures all the same, which is precisely why it is called a guilty pleasure. Whether it is doing dumb things, procrastinating, or maybe just binge-watching a trashy show, we all have them in one form or another.
However, PB ninth-grader Luis Emerson-Terrel is a young man of simplicity as his guilty pleasure is to do absolutely nothing. Not oversleeping, not thinking, not doing something that would offend someone on his preferred social media site, the ever so infamous Twitter. Just wasting away would be a good way to describe such action - or rather non-action.
When Luise does feel like stimulating his brain cells he likes to play video games. His favorite game is one that is popular with many, ”I enjoy playing Mario Kart8 8 in my free time,” says Luise. Something you would probably see is Luise drinking his favorite drink, Sprite, while playing.
He also enjoys listening to music from the older side, as his favorite author is Rick Astley, though he’s not entirely sure of this. “I’m not sure [who my favorite musical artist is] ... but if I had to choose it would be Rick Astley., notes Luise. His favorite song by him would be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ an internet classic, “Never Gonna Give You Up.” As I've said before Luise has very simple tastes and there is nothing wrong with that.
