Going Away to College May Be the Right Choice

Through their senior year, students are faced with many important decisions, none more important than what they will do after they graduate.  For those who go to college, the question of whether to stay close to home or move away for school presents itself more times than not, and the graduate is left with a choice s/he must make.  While the decision is tough-and some choose the confusing somewhere-in-the-middle, not too close, not too far – making the right choice for you is the key.  Personally, for me, going away for college seems to be the more attractive choice.  I see college as an opportunity to experience a new culture and move away while still being supported by my parents – even by afar.  I know that I eventually want to settle down close to home, so, before I do that I want to live somewhere else for a little bit.  College is the only thing that seems to make this possible at this point, so all I want to do is go out and experience as many things as I can while I’m still able to before the “real world” brings me back.
