Have you ever caught yourself snooping through your boyfriend’s Twitter or phone,maybe wanting to know his every move?

All too often the answer to this question is yes. That is why it is clear that some high-school relationships are taken too seriously. Girls have taken it to another level by being so protective over boys our age or even older. We do things to make sure our boyfriends are kept “in check” and don’t do anything they aren’t supposed to be doing. We define this type of behavior as a girl who is crazy over what is hers; we call these girls “the crazy girlfriend.”

A crazy girlfriend is someone who has extreme mood swings and who calls or texts her boyfriend constantly. It can be a problem for a guy when one missed call turns into multiple missed calls from his girlfriend; she will think of anything to make it seem like he is in the wrong. These girls demand to know where a guy is and why he is not answering. She will accuse him of ignoring her when most likely he was just busy and couldn’t get to any of her calls/texts.

Crazy will also make a scene in public. We all know how that gets; we’ve all seen it, and it embarrasses the boy and makes him feel uncomfortable. It is unacceptable behavior to create public confrontation and argue for no reason. Lying also becomes excessive when girlfriends tend to lie to cover up the small stuff.

So, if you are a young man who is thinking about getting a girlfriend, look for these symptoms listed above. If these things are present in your relationship…call it quits.
