PB Honors Top Scholars

This year’s Top Scholars – the top 5% of the Senior Class – gathered on May 19th for a dinner in their honor.

On May 19th, the Top Scholars dinner honored the top 5% of students in the class of 2014 as acknowledgement of their outstanding academic performance in high school. These twenty individuals are Adebisi Adenupebi, Joanne Chan, Prableen Chowdhary, Monica Chu, Harold Dorsey, John Gruber, Samrat Jha, Alex Johny, Nhi Le, Navaal Mahdi, Nuhamin Mengistu, Connie Nguyen, Melanie Outtarac, Mahitosh Patel, Narjit Singh, Saron Teklezgi, Thuy Tien Tran, Tina Vo, Jesse Vo, and Lacey Walker.

In a letter to these outstanding students, Dr. Rogers explained, “The purpose of the evening is to recognize your outstanding academic achievement throughout your high-school career.”

During the evening’s program, students received graduation medals and certificates and stood by as their self-selected staff member introduced him/her to those in attendance, which included Paint Branch administrators, teaching and counseling staff, and members of the honorees’ families.
