Decisions Don’t Have to Define You
February 5, 2015
Do you remember those times in high school when you made stupid decisions?
In life, people sometimes define you by the bad decisions that you choose to make, even if they have made many themselves. The truth is, everyone has made decisions that someone could consider bad because, the truth is, no one is perfect. Why is it, though, that the one dumb choice people make seems to overshadow all the logical and correct future decisions that same person will choose to make?
We are imperfect people and should not define ourselves or others on the decisions that we make in life. In this world, everyone is put into a category of stereotypes based on what people have been told about them instead of actually knowing who a person truly is. People should judge others not by looking down their noses at them but by actually having a conversation with them. By doing this people may actually be able to see the change someone has made in their life. The decisions you make do not have to define you. The life you choose can be your own.
