Ranasha Singh, Staff Writer

Who is excited for fall? If you responded that you are, then you feel the same as Paint Branch junior Ranasha Singh, who is very  excited about her favorite season nearly being here. “It’s not too cold or not too hot,” Ranasha says of the time of year that perfectly meets her standards.

With that fall feeling in the air it means that school has started and Ranasha is starting her first year at PB  after transferring from Blake. About three weeks into the school year, she is more comfortable at PB than she was at Blake. She does admit that school is tiring some days and a nice cup of coffee, which she prefers over matcha, would help keep her up.

Even when watching high school movies, she knew high school would be nothing like it was in the movies. The movies were preppy, high energy, and way too good to be true.

Ranasha is not a big fashionista but still dresses up for this season. Ranasha always makes sure to wear the gold R initial necklace her grandma gave her and calls it her favorite gift of all the time.

If she could travel to the past or the future Ranasha says that she is for sure going back to change the past. As she says, “The past leads up to the future.” Speaking of the past, a favorite memory she has was going to see her sister in Texas, a place she hasn’t been in a while and that she would like to go to and see again.

As cozy and warm as a cottage sounds to someone who likes the comfort of fall, Ranasha would pick a mansion. “Mansions have more space and look more clean,” she says. Although she does agree that mansions do seem scary because with all that space “someone could sneak in and secretly live with you.” Her mansion would definitely be in Houston, Texas. Ranasha would like to live there one day and be closer with her sister and other family members who live there.

Ranasha only takes advice from people who are in the right place in life and “the place that you want to be in.” You could say Ranasha is in a state of mind that everyone wants to be in.
