On October 2, the varsity field hockey team headed into their matchup with the Gaithersburg Trojans with a 6-4 record. The Panthers were triumphant and defeated the Trojans 4-0. Juniors Kelly Krizmanich and Lisa Marshall each chipped in a goal, and freshman Anna Gruber netted two. The Panthers hope to continue their hot streak during their three games in the upcoming week against Wheaton, Magruder and Sherwood.
With a strong group of core players and the ability to work and communicate effectively, the Panthers hope to excel during play-offs and bring back a state championship. The senior Panthers celebrate Senior Night on Wednesday, October 8th, against the Magruder Colonels.
