Do you enjoy helping others and the community? If so, you should join members of the Key Club every other Thursday in room 1201 where they meet to discuss how to help others.

The Key Club, the world’s largest international high school service organization,  is a community service and social organization. It is sponsored by its adult counterpart, the Kiwanis International. The club offers students an opportunity to provide service to the community in need, build character, and develop leadership skills.

At Paint Branch, the Key Club boasts fifty-eight members, who generally help out the community by making bag lunches, They also help by getting involved in parades, making cards for kids in the hospital, collecting money for UNICEF and, on the day of this meeting, they began the process of helping out with Pennies for Patients. Key Club President Michael Katski states,” Today we will make boxes for pennies for patients and deliver them to every English class.”

Katski describes the Pennies for Patients work they were completing at the meeting, saying,“This will help you earn student service learning hours and, more importantly, help deliver treatment to patients in need.”
