With Week 6 in the books, it is time to rank the best teams in the NFL.

5. New England Patriots – The Patriots are a surprising 5-1 after beating, in shocking fashion, the formerly undefeated New Orleans Saints.  No one thought they could be efficient or successful without their number one offensive player, Rob Gronkowski, but the Patriots have found a way.  The won on Sunday in the final 5 seconds, showing they can grind out tough games.

4.  Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs came into this season with a new coach, Andy Reid, and questions on both sides of the ball.  However, they have found a way to surprise the league by starting out 6-0.  The Chiefs have relied on a very good defense in order to carry them through close games. The only reason the Chiefs aren’t lower on this list is because of the schedule they have faced, which has been pretty easy so far.

3. Indianapolis Colts – With a major win against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5, the Colts showed that they are for real. The Seahawks got off to an early lead, but the Colts, led by quarterback Andrew Luck and receiver T.Y Hilton, found a way to get a key victory and give the Seahawks their first loss of the season. The Seahawks, often viewed as the best team in the NFL with one of the best defenses, saw the Colts take it to them and put up really big numbers.

2. Seattle Seahawks – Even after their stunning loss in Week 5 to the Colts, the Seahawks are a top 3 team. The Seahawks, who did not catch any breaks in that game, still seem to be a great team that just had some bad luck. After beating the Titans this week, the Seahawks are an impressive, but not unexpected, 5-1

1. Denver Broncos – The Broncos are the number-one team in the NFL without a doubt. Quarterback Peyton Manning has thrown 22 touchdowns through 6 weeks and the Broncos, coming off a surprisingly challenging win against the Jaguars, have shown why they are the best team in the NFL through 6 weeks. The Broncos’ defense has given up alot of points,but part of the problem is that they are playing without Von Miller, who is a key part of their defense When they get Miller back, it would make them even better.
