Dangerous Curves: Why Guys Are not Feeling the Love

Gabriel Payne, Staff Writer

Have you ever been curved? You know, had your heart smashed before you could get it into her hands. Well, it’s time to try and put an end to this; put an end to girls not giving guys the time of day.

Girls are always on Instagram or Twitter talking about how they need a “bae”, boyfriend, or writing stuff like “nights like these make me wish I had a boo.”  They often write, “I do single things and if you don’t like it cuff me.” When I read these comments, it makes me sick to my stomach, and I lay in bed pondering, asking myself over and over, “Why did you curve me?”. If you are lonely, single, or want a “bae”, then simply be more open to the guys who approach you.

Girls ask for a guy and then, when a guy tries to be that person, they either refuse to let you spit some cold game or stop replying because they think you’re either too ugly or that you are super, duper lame. Curves mess guys up mentally. I remember one time I saw a beautiful girl and I said to myself, “Oh my god, she fine. Hol’ up, let me go spit some cold game.” I strutted my stuff all way the over to her, took the time out of my day to maneuver my way 200+ feet through the valley of the shadow of death, barefoot at that, and came victorious out of the hall of traffic in school just to make myself relevant to this beauty.

I walked up to her and, before I could get out the word “hello,” she cut off my greeting and proceeded to toss me with a mean “bye.” I stood there for the rest of lunch in utter disbelief and tears as Drake, who so happened to be playing at the time, sang songs to match the crisp tears speeding down my cheeks and splashing to the ground, which was almost as cold as her heart

Stories like these need to be told in order to make girls understand that they are crushing hearts left and right. All guys deserve a chance to be the man of your dreams and these curves are just out of control. To all the ladies out there devoting their lives to curving like it’s a sport, shame on you. What if you one day curve the man of your dreams? Think about it – one wrong curve and you could become a lonely cat lady. I just want you to think about this the next time a guy approaches you simply to say, “How you doing?”
