All these names are familiar to the general public because they are famous. They have each achieved some level of influence during their lifetime. How each of these figures rose to the top, how s/he achieved his or her stardom or high level of influence, is not always entirely clear. Some suggest that just such luminaries may have, perhaps, had help, and not just any help – Illuminati help.

Illuminati – a “secret” organization rumored to have been created by the top elites of the world starting as far back as the late 1400`s – may be the assist that these famous figures had in their ascension to fame, fortune, and power.

However, before one can truly embrace the power and influence of the Illuminati, we must take a closer look at just what this secret society is. According to the 2013 documentary, Origins of Illuminati 2013 Documentary NWO, History Secret Societies Bible Prophecy, the goals of the society are: “abolition of all monarchical government and patriotism, elimination of private property and inheritance, destruction of the traditional family, and eradication of all religion.”

This twisted society with undisclosed headquarters has an agenda for a world with absolute control under a single ruler. Its goals are in place for the establishment of a “new world order.”

Although the public does not seem fearful of such a plot, the Illuminati has been leaving memorable marks of their ideologies and imprints upon the world since its creation. This group’s influences are rumored to be evident in prominent films, books, works of art, and even in controversial political messages.

However, this controversial society is not alone in deciphering plots for this new world order. The rise of Freemasonry, “a fraternal organization” with secret tactics for the focus of cult practices, had a great influence on the spread of the beliefs and goals of the Illuminati.

Contrary to popular belief, Freemasonry is not a religion and, therefore, does not teach religious philosophies. According to the documentary, Freemasonry was brought into light around the 1700`s. The Freemasons and the Illuminati are hand in glove as “the top Freemasons were also top Illuminists,” reports the newsletter, The Illuminati in America. This is because the Illuminati is a secret society within the secret society of Freemasonry.

Both Freemasons and Illuminists practice an ancient form of philosophy known as Gnosticism- salvation through knowledge, a primary driver of a new world order. Once again the pursuit of the development of a totalitarian world government has not been kept a secret from the citizens of the world. In the U.S there has been controversy of direct messages addressed to the people of the expansion of a new world order.

During the 20th century, political figures such as Woodrow Wilson and Winston Churchill used the term “new world order” to refer to a new period of history characterized by a shift in world political thought and the balance of power after World War I and World War II.

For these politicians, along with an array of others such as former president John F. Kennedy, a new world order was an opportunity to implement worldwide collective change rather single effects from individual nation-states. However, this political strategy questions the supposed ominous purpose of the new world order by forces of the Illuminati. As a result, it brings doubt upon the back-and-forth theories of the Illuminati and whether it even exists.

Now, back to a few of the listed notable people and their alleged connection to the Illuminati. The flaws of the conspiracy of an actual illuminati society come into play. Today`s media has a negative underlining, yet also pivotal role, in the publics` interpretation and opinions of the society.

The popular trend of bluntly labeling powerful figures such as celebrities as members of the Illuminati possibly downgrades the society into a mere joke. The Illuminati`s alleged logo (a triangle with a single eye in the center) is a common trend for celebrities to flash for fans and cameras. Such exhibits of this activity are prominent by stars like Rihanna and Jay-Z at the MTV Music Awards.

So the questions regarding the Illuminati, essentially, remain unanswered. A close look online at the group reveals the controversial logo of the society, in relation to the supposed similar features of U.S bills, is completely false. This greatly undermines the connection of the Illuminati with the U.S government and subsequently calls the new world order act into question.

Did the Illuminati once have a legitimate influence over people and just happen to lose its way as time went on? Did the Illuminati`s origins get lost in history? Or is it all a careless act sprung and twisted by the media for mass attention and worship for celebrities?
