Stop Bullying – Why What You Say and Do Matters

Megan Meier took her own life on Monday October 16th because she was cyber bullied.

This was not the first death due to bullying. However, it shouldn’t bring death to make bullying stop.

Bullying can lead to death, but in most cases many people just suffer from it. People at school don’t stop the bullying because they to worry about “being cool” or being “the most popular.” But this is wrong if students see bullying and don’t stop it. Sometimes they don’t want to get bullied themselves. However, if people don’t stand up to the bully, it’ll go on forever.

People also get bullied on social media such as Yik Yak. This app is anonymous, so you don’t know who is doing the bullying. On Instagram and Twitter, these apps have profiles so you can know who’s doing the bullying and report the page or tell a parent and or someone you trust.

Another life shouldn’t be taken, and no one should suffer from bullying; it is just wrong and, if you see people doing it, report them or stop them.
