Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. iPhone 6

Sydney Muhindi, Staff Writer

Ever wondered what the big deal is between the two biggest smartphones- the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy- in 2015? They seem to be the same thing but with different designs. However, there is so much more to each than what they look like.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 can do things the iPhone cannot. For battery life, the iPhone can stay charged up to 7 hours and 40 minutes, while the Samsung Galaxy stays charged up to 9 hours and 52 minutes. A long-lasting battery seems to always catch many people’s attention when buying a phone. The Samsung Galaxy wins this category. Time for the next round.

Listening to music also seems to catch attention from buyers. The iPhone 6 offers louder and clearer sound with 81 decibels while the Samsung emits only 73. However, they are at a draw when it comes to their apps. Apple’s App Store is a bit cleaner with some nice exclusives, but both phones
have access to a wealth of great software. According to Michael Andronico who has been viewing both the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5. Andronico has a website called www.tomsguide.com (Tech for real life).

Although each phone has won a category and tied once on this list, there still has to be a winner. The winner of best smartphone is… drum roll please… the Samsung Galaxy S5.
