Joey Badass released his third album, “B4.DA.$$”, on January 19. The album hit number five in album sales, selling 58,000 in the first week.

He has been in the industry for three years and is only 20 years of age. This young Brooklyn artist is very talented and notes that his influences include Jay Z, Nas, and Andre 3000. His success is outrageous, making many hits by himself and with his group Pro Era.

Joey Badass is one of the new artists keeping hip-hop alive, because he makes real hits which are worth listening to.

Joey’s track list consists of 17 songs. Joey tells stories that help the listener really get into the songs.  Tracks such as “Save the Children” and “Teach Me” are among those that pull you in.  Joey continues to put out hits every year, and he looks to keep doing it and be around for a long time.

After putting out this album, Joey appeared on the Jimmy Fallon Show.  At just 20 years old, Joey has reached some lofty heights, and his career is becoming bigger and better each day.
