Steelers Set to Claim Seventh Super Bowl

The football postseason began this past weekend with now only eight teams remaining in the race to the Super Bowl. The remaining teams in the AFC that remain are the Steelers, Chiefs, Patriots, and Texans. Remaining in the NFC, the teams are, the Seahawks, Packers, Falcons and Cowboys.

In the AFC Divisional Playoffs, the Steelers will beat the Chiefs 31-24, and the Patriots will beat the Texans  31-14 in the AFC. The Steelers have already beaten the Chiefs in the regular season and the Steelers hot streak of eight straight wins should keep them on the field for most of the game. They looked good this past Sunday with three touchdowns to end the first quarter. Those numbers should increase versus the Chiefs. In the NFC, Seattle will lose to the Cowboys 21-14, and the Falcons will beat the Packers 24-21 in OT. The Falcons have had a successful offense with explosive receiver, Julio Jones and Matt Ryan, who leads the league with thirty-eight  touchdowns thrown this year.

In the Conference Championship games , the Steelers will beat the Patriots 31-21 due to Pittsburgh’s explosive offense, but it will be a close game due to the Patriots’ tough secondary. On the other side, the Cowboys will put up a good fight and play the way they have been playing all season. However,  every good thing has to come to an end, so the Cowboys will choke in this playoff game and lose to the Atlanta Falcons 40-21

Then comes time to see which team wants the prize the most. It will be in Houston, Texas, where SuperBowl LI will feature The Pittsburgh Steelers against the Atlanta Falcons. The Steelers have not played the Falcons since Week 15 of the regular season in 2014. In that game, Big Ben had two touchdown passes, the defense for the Steelers had a pick six and they went on to beat the Falcons at home 27-20. For this Super Bowl, the Steelers will get another win against the Falcons and get their 7th Super Bowl ring with a 30-20 victory.
