Infinity War: The Best Crossover Ever

Marvel is getting better. That’s right, every movie they release ups the ante and their newest, Avengers Infinity War, is their best yet.

The film, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, came out on April 27 and blew people – including me – away. Within hours of its release, it already had a ton of positive reviews from critics and fans. IGN give it a 9/10, Rotten Tomatoes gave it an 86% fresh rating, and iMDb gave it a 9.1/10 making it their highest rated Marvel film of all time.

Infinity War is not your average superhero movie. This is a movie that establishes a true perspective for both the heroes and the villain, is the one and only Thanos. The incredible action scenes, an amazing and well-designed villian, and the sheer volume of heroes made me think that Marvel is setting up for something big in the future.

This film is perfect for people who enjoy action because it has a lot of amazing action scenes. The CGI in these scenes make the movie feel alive and fun. Based on the audience I was watching the movie with, everyone was into it as they were cheering and clapping to the amazing action scenes. The humor was, as usual, on point with this movie, and knows when to be funny and when to be serious. Of course, pretty much any movie with the Guardians of the Galaxy in it will make people laugh.

Of course, the film has some serious moments, including several gut-wrenching scenes that will make even the most serious Marvel fan cry a waterfall. The movie is quite emotional from the beginning to the very end. With its twists and surprises, it can keep anyone interested. The Russo brothers managed to make this movie funny, depressing, exciting, and serious all at the same time.

And then there is the villain..
Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, is probably the best villain of the MCU and Avengers Infinity War is basically his movie. Thanos is a scary and powerful individual who wants to kill and destroy pretty much everything to balance life in the universe. Even though his main goal does involve massive genocide, his perspective and his past makes his goal very understandable and realistic. A good villain thinks that he is a hero in his own eyes and Thanos definitely thinks that. This is especially true when he is willing to make huge sacrifices to achieve his goal. In general, Thanos is a strong villain who doesn’t play around and who is dedicated to his goal of creating balance in the universe.

This film is probably the best MCU movie of the past 10 years. After 18 movies, Marvel had to show us how well-designed their movies really can be. Marvel movies are not just action packed films, however.

Their films can make us cry, laugh, feel surprised, shocked, and many other emotions, which is why they do so well. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes superhero movies, but I recommend bringing a box of tissues because you will cry at least once from this emotion packed and action packed film.
