Well, at the start of the year no one really knew if this day would actually come: Graduation. In-person, on-time, and with family and friends in attendance. When the day finally arrived at Paint Branch, students gathered in small groups to catch up as they helped one another with their robes, tassels, and cords, while others took a moment to say hello to teachers that they had only seen from a computer screen.

When the Class of 2021 made their entrance to the stadium, families joyfully shouted and cheered them all the way to their seats, happy to have a chance to celebrate their students’ achievements. After more than a year of mostly online learning, today was a day to be together and soak in the joy that is high school graduation.
