Now that the consoles have gained their full reviews and have created their impressions onto their player base, it is time to decide which the better one is. The way we usually decide this would be to overlook the sales of the two consoles and decide of economic gains, but this writer owns both PS4 and Xbox One so therefore, I will compare both my experiences with the two and give my two cents on this topic.

The Xbox One has created a whole new way to game on consoles. With a rocky start and many glitches, the Xbox One has recovered nicely and created a steady console. Games look great on the Xbox One and, with PlayStation losing one of its key advantages over the Xbox with a requirement of paying for an online connection, however the PS4 hasn’t faulted with the loss selling more than 2 million more units than the Xbox One, if Microsoft hopes to trump the PS4 in sales they will have to increase the quality of the console in a whole.

The PlayStation 4 is a console that has a dedicated fan base, the same fan base that sat through the anonymous hackings of the PSN just (year amount here) with that kind of dedication the PS4 has to feel like it ones up the Xbox One in that aspect; however the PS4 has created controversy with the big problem being exclusives. The Xbox always has more exclusives than the PS4, creating issues with the fans of the PS4 because of the lack of dedication to the console by Sony. However, this year the PS4 has put out a good console overall with good graphics and many of its own exclusives the PS4 will have to continue their approach to increase the lead of sales over the Xbox One.

Overall, I would have to choose the Xbox One as the better console just because of the fact that it is more playable. You can have hours of fun on the Xbox One and I can account for that. Even though I endorse the Xbox One many others support the PS4 for many different reasons, it all comes down to the player what do you look for in the console. So go out there and get a next gen console because without on you are truly missing out on a major revolution in gaming in its whole.
