The 24th annual Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD) Carnival was a night to remember. The bright lights, rides, and delicious food and drink attracted people to come and enjoy the fun.

The night of fun had kids enjoying the Ferris wheel, bumper cars and other fun rides. One parent, Shamika Bruce, thought the carnival was a great event. “This is a great Saturday night fun to enjoy with your kids or your boyfriend/girlfriend.  It makes a great date,” she said.

On Saturday the 13th the crowd had a wide array of rides and food choices. One ride called the ‘’Rock n Roll,’’ spun riders around for about two minutes.  Another ride. The mirror maze, was a very confusing to find yourself! The food choices were typical food fair like; hot dogs, cotton candy, funnel cake, French fries ,chicken fingers . One woman who was there with her kids Marylyn Peterson thought ‘’that the food was great, it was very tasty.’’

If you would like to attend the fair, you will need to wait until next year!
