The Patriots have been accused of deflating footballs in their AFC title game versus the Colt. Because of this they should have been eliminated and the Colts should have played the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

Some of the Patriots players knew what was going on with the footballs. According to SportingNews, Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana stated, “Did Tom do it? No, but Tom likes the balls that way, obviously, or you wouldn’t have 11 of them that way without him complaining, because as a quarterback, you know how you like the ball. If it doesn’t feel like that, something is wrong.” Montana also stated, “If I ever want a ball a certain way, I don’t do it myself … so, somebody did it for him, ” Montana is clearly hinting at Tom Brady knowing about the balls.

The ones who knew should be fined and suspended from future games. Cheating during a nationally televised game should be taken very seriously, especially for icons like Tom Brady, since children look up to them.

The Patriots made a mockery of the NFL and should face very serious consequences. They basically said, “We don’t care about your rules or your name” and soiled their own name in the process. The NFL has been transformed to a bucket of lies and corruption.
