Hello! I am Yeabsira :). I’m an 11th grader at Paint Branch High School and I love to write and direct! I participate in theater as a stage manager and I this is my second year working with the school paper.
I first joined Mainstream when I was a freshman! That was back during virtual school and I can honestly say that having journalism online throughout Covid was very… different. Our paper was completely online and this is why I am looking forward to publishing a real print newspaper. I hope that now that we have started publishing again, my articles can be more widely enjoyed. I’m also excited to begin editing this year! Lastly, I am a very opinionated person so my articles may be random or even possibly controversial! Regardless, I am open-minded so if readers have any feedback, I will be happy to respond.
