My greatest memory as a PB Athlete has to be…
Being awarded ‘Rookie of the Year’ my freshmen year. It made me feel more welcome in the Paint Branch Community in my first year.

My advice to the athletes I leave behind…
Be a good role model. As athletes, how we portray ourselves is important. It didn’t hit me at first, but I later realized that I have many teammates that look up to me and consider me a mentor due to my position of being captain leadership has definitely helped me get out of my shell. So, I’m very thankful of that.

My advice to my younger self would be…
To be more confident in yourself. You may have supportive friends and family, but at the end of the day, the main person you have to uplift yourself is you. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re trying your best.
