Not too long ago, the Paint Branch cross country team was the laughingstock of the county. However, last year that began to change and this year things could not be any different.  Led by the top pack of senior Harold Dorsey and juniors Lorenzo Neil and Oliver Lloyd, the Panthers finished 5-0 and clinched their third straight division title. Along with contributions from senior Irre Hussein and junior Ryun Anderson, the team has reached the upper echelon of Maryland running. They have won two invitationals and finished second at the other two, and destroyed every team in their division. The Panthers are widely considered favorites at the upcoming Montgomery County Championships, and look to bring home more trophies this upcoming championship season.
